Harps beaten – but stay top of First Division

Finn Harps
Harps remain top of the table but they’ve now lost two on the trot in the league after going down 3-1 against Wexford Youths.
Ollie Horgan’s side had the better of things early on but Wexford took the lead against the run of play on 21 minutes when their top scorer Danny Furlong scored with a deflected free.
Wexford made it 2-0 on 44 minutes when Andrew Mulligan headed past Gallagher to silence the Finn Park faithful.
The Donegal side deservedly pulled one back on 61 minutes when Harkin and Tommy McMonagle combined to find McHugh who scored a brilliant goal.
But eight minutes later Wexford extended their lead on a classic counter attack with Furlong finding Mulligan to make it 3-1 and effectively kill the game.
After the game Ollie Horgan gave his views on the game and the first half of the season to Diarmuid Doherty
