Donnelly gives support to keep WRC cars in Tarmac Championship

With the Joule Donegal International Rally just around the corner there may be changes on the horizon with the possibility of WRC cars being dropped from the Irish Tarmac Championship.
The most radical changes in years are being proposed as discussions continue about replacing the WRC cars with the new ERC standard R5 vehicles.
Speaking with Oisin Kelly, multi Donegal winner Eugene Donnelly says there is a place for R5 cars but Ireland will losing its appeal if the WRC machinery gets dropped and in particular the Joule Donegal International which is the main event on the calendar…..
