Derry’s losing steak in the Ulster Championship quarter-finals has come to an end.
They’ve beaten Down this afternoon on a scoreline of 12 points to 11.
Down were reduced to 14 men, though, as Conaill McGovern was controversially sent off by referee Eddie Kinsella.
Eoin Bradley kicked the match winning free in the closing seconds.
After the game a relieved Derry Manager Brian Mc Iver spoke with Oisin Kelly.
