Derry lose to Kerry in Christy Ring Cup Final

Derry were beaten 1-20 to 0-12 by Kerry in Saturday's Christy Ring Cup Hurling Final at Croke Park.

It was a disappointing evening for Derry who managed just three scores from play.

Ruairi Convery scored five frees and Patrick Henry hit a further four, Shane Nolan top scored for Kerry with 1-8.

It was third time lucky for Kerry who had lost the previous two final's.

Kerry will play in the Leinster Senior Hurling Championship next year.

Derry Manager Tom McClean spoke to the press after the game.
