Almost 4,400 Donegal students begin state examinations today

Almost 119,000 students across the country begin their state examinations this morning.
Tests will take place in over 100 subjects, involving four million examination papers and just under 5,000 superintendents supervising the proceedings over the coming days.
In Donegal, 2106 students will sit the Leaving Cert, 145 will sit the Leaving Cert Applied and 2263 will sit the Junior Cert. In bioth cases, the split between the genders is almost exactly 50/50.
