PNA says many of its members are ‘afraid to go to work’ at Galway facility

Galway_University_HospitalThe Psychiatric Nurses Association says many of its members at a Galway facility are ‘afraid to come into work’.
Members of the group have today begun a work-to-rule at the Acute Psychiatric Unit of University College Hospital Galway, in response to concerns over staffing and safety.
They’re demanding the HSE takes action after they recorded 36 assaults against staff since the start of the year.
