Voting closed and referendum results expected to be in at lunchtime today

Counting will get underway at 9am this morning. The votes in the Donegal North-East constituency will be counted in the Bonagee Centre in Letterkenny, while the votes in Donegal South-West constituency will be counted in the John Bosco Centre in Donegal Town.
The results for Co Donegal are expected to be in at around lunchtime today.
Turnout for a referendum was reported to be high at the many polling stations across the county yesterday, with many young people voting for the first time.
But how will the Marriage Equality Referendum go in Co Donegal? The county has a reputation for going against the rest of the country.
And the bookies have the county at a short price to vote no this time round.
