Kilmacrennan woman with Down Syndrome lives out actress dream in epic birthday surprise

Meet Claire Doherty from Kilmacrennan, who’s had the dream of being an actress all her life.
Her brother Paul, who’s a wedding photographer, decided to make Claire’s dream come true and play the video at her 21st birthday celebrations.
Claire and Paul came up with an excellent concept for the video, which sees her birthday cake get stolen and follows Claire’s James Bond style efforts to retrieve it.
The short film also features some local Donegal celebrities like All-Ireland winner Michael Murphy and our very own Gary Gamble.
