Donegal Senior Ladies reach Division 2 Final

Donegal ladies had a convincing victory over Westmeath in Clones on Sunday winning by 3-10  to Westmeath’s 1-4.
Donegal, despite an Amber Barrett goal on 90 seconds, had a great difficulty breaking down the Westmeath defence in the first half as the midlanders packed their defence.
Donegal led 2-1  to 0-3 at half time.
In the 2nd half, an Yvonne McMonagle goal, her second of the game, put daylight between the teams and Donegal won by 12 points.
Donegal will play Armagh in the Division 2 Final in 2 weeks time.  Armagh defeated Cavan by 2-20 to 1-8.
