Three drug arrests in Derry during separate search operations


Three arrests were made in Derry yesterday in relation to alleged drugs offences.

A man is to be reported to the PPS after cannabis and diazepam tablets were seized in a search in the Shantallow area on Tuesday morning.

And in another search in the Shantallow area on Tuesday afternoon, a man was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a Class B drug and possessing it with intent to supply. He was later released on bail pending further enquiries.

Last night, police on duty at Union Place arrested a man on suspicion of possession Class A and Class B drugs. He remains in custody this morning.
