Report proposes under 20 grade and no third level sides in McKenna Cup

The changing of the under 21 grade to under 20 and the withdrawal of third level colleges from pre season competitions are just two proposals in a Gaelic players association report released today.
The report entitled “Never enough time” has found 50 % of those in third level asked feel overwhelmed by their commitments.
40% revealed they would like more time for their sport, 51% say they’d like more time to have a part time job , 56% more time to devote to their studies and 61% more time for family and friends.
55% of those surveyed have reported are experiencing financial difficulties
