Derry City held scoreless at home for second week in a row

derry cityDerry City drew a blank for the second week in a row at home, when they hosted Bray Wanderers at the Brandywell on Friday night. A second nil nil draw, in a game they should have won.

Derry made some chances and will be frustrated with the lack of goals.
They had the ball in the net through Philip Lowry’s header in the second half but the referee ruled it offside.
Derry were reduced to ten men eight minutes from time when captain Ryan McBride was given a straight red card for a robust challenge.
They go to Limerick early next week without their two central defenders available.
Shane Mc Eleney was substitued two minutes after the break with an injury he picked up in the first half.
