A meeting aimed at saving Colaiste Chineal Eoghain will take place at the Exchange in Buncrana tonight.
The meeting, organmised by parents and supporters of the school follows confirmation from the CEO of the Donegal ETB this week that Inishowen's only irish language secondary school is to be closed on a phased basis as a result of insufficient numbers.
According to a Facebook page established to support the campaign and promote tonight's meeting, the wellbeing of our children and the future of the Irish Language in the Inishowen area are at stake. The page, established earlier this week, now has over 850 likes.
The organisers are hoping that Donegal North East's three TDs will attend.
