Euro joy for McLaughlin & McGlynn

UEFA gave official confirmation last evening that Dave Connell’s Women’s U17 side are through to the European finals, having finished their Elite Phase unbeaten this week.
The side finished best runners up out of the six qualifying groups in the Elite Phase but had to wait until all of the matches were completed yesterday before receiving final confirmation from UEFA.
The squad includes two Donegal players, Zoe McGlynn from Raphoe and Roma McLaughlin of Greencastle
