Harps beat Athlone while Derry draw with Rovers

Finn Harps won the battle of the top two in Ballybofey on Friday night.
Ollie Horgan’s side beat Athlone Town 1-0 thanks to a header from Keith Cowan with twenty three minutes to go in the game at Finn Park.
Harps continue their unbeaten start to the season and are two points clear at the top.
Wexford Youths are up to second following their 4-2 win at Shelbourne.
UCD pocketed their second win of the season with a 2-0 turnover of Cabinteely at Stradbrook.
While Waterford and Cobh drew one-apiece
In the Premier Division Derry City and Shamrock Rovers played out a 0-0 draw at the Brandywell.
Elsewhere Dundalk needed a late Richie Towell strike to give them a 1-0 win at home to local rivals Drogheda tonight.
The defending champions stay top of their SSE Airtricity Premier with that win.
Just three points behind Dundalk are Bohemians, who were 2-nil winners at home to Longford.
Cork are third following a scoreless draw away to St. Pats.
Sligo have finally gotten their first win of the season – with Dinny Corcoran’s early strike giving them a 1-0 win away to Galway.
