Teenager rescued after jetski capsizes in Bundoran

Bundoran LifeboatA teenager was rescued when his jet-ski capsized off Bundoran, this afternoon.
The 17-year-old and a friend, who were using the one ski, got into trouble a short distance from shore.
Bundoran Lifeboat received an alert from Malin Head Coastguard service after an onlooker raised the alert.
The lifeboat crew took the teenager aboard and an ambulance transferred him to Sligo Regional Hospital where he was treated as a precaution for hypothermia and swallowed sea-water.
The second youth managed to pull himself aboard the jet-ski and he made his own way to shore.
