Fire crews attacked with petrol bombs in Strabane


Detectives are appealing for witnesses following a petrol bomb attack in the Dublin Road area of Strabane during the early hours of this morning (Sun).

It was reported that at around 4.45am a number of petrol bombs had been thrown at a car parked in the driveway of a house in the area.  Damage was caused to the car and to the front of the house as a result.

A number of petrol bombs were also thrown atfire crews who attended the call.  There were no injuries as a result of the incident.

Detective Inspector David McQuade is appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone with any information to contact CID in Strabane.
