A Stranorlar area councillor says the cutting down of a mast at the site of a proposed windfarm development at Lismullaghduff will have no impact on the planning process.
Cllr Patrick Mc Gowan was speaking after the 250 foot structure was cut down at some point towards the end of last week.
The incident, which is the subject of a garda investigation, has been condemned by many people and organisations, including the action group established to oppose the planned development, which would be the biggest in the country.
Cllr Patrick Mc Gowan says this attack serves no purpose………….
