Road still closed at Fahan after woman is injured in collision

Motorists are being urged to avoid Fahan this evening as a result of a road collision this morning.
The Derry to Buncrana road remains closed between Bradley’s Filling Station and the Church of Ireland in Fahan following the crash at around 10 o’clock this morning.
One woman has been brought to Altnagelvin Hospital in Derry with what are believed to be serious injuries.
Gardai are appealing for witness to come forward, and say the road will reopen after technical examinations have been completed. That’s likely to be this evening, but as of yet, that’s not confirmed.
In the meantime, diversions remain in place.
