The importance of providing a new bridge at Cockhill in Buncrana was emphasised in a meeting with the Minister for Transport yesterday.
A delegation of councillors from Inishowen attended a meeting in Dublin with Transport Minister Paschal Donohoe.
Earlier this week the community in Glenties received good news with the announcement of funding for the Mullantyboyle Bridge.
Inishowen Cllr John Ryan said he’s hopeful the community in Buncrana will get similar good news in the near future……….
