Dublin win relegates Derry

Derry gaa 2
Derry will be relegated to Division 2 of the National Football League after Saturday nights defeat to Dublin at Croke Park.
With one game to play and trailing the teams above them by three points the Oak Leafer who haven’t won a game this year in Division One will make the drop down.
Dublin’s 0-8 to 0-4 win was far from a spectacular showpiece, in the aftermath social media light up with negative comments about the current state of gaelic football and in particular Ulster counties tactics.
The tie was locked at 0-4 apiece with sixty of the seventy minutes played.
Dublin eventually came through with four late scores to keep them on track for the semi finals and send Brian McIvers side down.
