The Raphoe Men’s 1st XI Hockey team are in the semi final of the Irish Hockey Trophy.
This Saturday in Raphoe they host Bandon from Cork.

Bandon, one of the top teams in Munster, play  in the top league in Munster and have already accounted for some of Raphoe’s Ulster rivals in the earlier rounds of this competition. Bandon beat Portadown (second in Senior One) 5 – 1 in the first round in Cork and in the last round Bandon travelled to North Down (who are currently third in Senior One) and won 4 – 3.
This is arguably Raphoe’s biggest game of the season so far and with home advantage they will be hoping to make the final and avenge their Irish trophy final defeat to UCC back in 2012.
