Keating doubt for Waterford trip

Finn Harps
Ruairi Keating is a doubt for Finn Harps trip to Waterford on Friday night.
The scorer of the two goals against Cabinteely last week has a groin strain and didn’t train on Monday or Wednesday night.
Harps will be hoping to extend their unbeaten league start to the season to three games against Waterford United at the RSC.
Like Harps, Friday’s opponents Waterford have made an unbeaten start to the season and have also picked up four points from their opening two games including last week’s 2-1 victory over Wexford Youths.
“Waterford have made a great start and will obviously be full of confidence having beaten Wexford away,” said Manager Ollie Horgan.
“The return of Jack Doherty and Dylan Mernagh is a big boost to them along with new additions in the likes of Sean Hurley and young Dineen at the back. We struggled in the RSC this time last year and they ran out comfortable winners so we know how difficult it is going to be.
Packie Mailey remains out as he is still recovering from a knee operation.
Although Harps held the upper hands against Waterford last season – winning two and drawing one of their four meetings – they haven’t always had their way against Friday’s opponents. In the twenty meetings prior to last season they had won only three times against Waterford, with only one of these victories coming at the RSC.
