Donegal will play Monaghan in the semi-finals of this year’s Ulster Under 21 Championship.
On Wednesday night in Ballybofey, Donegal beat Cavan 1-7 to 0-9 thanks to an injury time goal from Ryan Mc Hugh.
The win brought an end to Cavan’s five in a row hopes losing for the first time in the competition since 2010.
Donegal manager Maxi Curran was delighted to overcome the defending champions.
