Galway dump Harps out of EA Sports Cup

Finn Harps suffered their first defeat of the season last night losing 3-2 to Galway Utd in the first round of the EA Sports cup.
Harps trailed 2 nil at half time before pulling a goal back through Brian Mc Groary 12 minutes into the second half
10 minutes later Galway were back to a two goal cushion with a third goal from the penaly spot.
Keith Gowan scored Harps second while subsitute Ruari Keating missed an opportunity to level the game with 10 minutes to go.
It was a good effort by Harps who now look forward to their first home game of the season against Cabinteely this Friday at Finn Park.
