Magees beaten in German Open semi-final

Donegal’s Sam and Chloe Magee were beaten in the semi-finals of the German Badminton Open.
They recorded their finest ever mixed doubles win as they shocked the world number ten pairing Michael Fuchs and Birgit Michel in the quarter-finals, winning
15-21,  21-14, 21-16.
Speaking after the match, Chloe Magee said that it was the biggest victory of their mixed pairs career.
In the semi-final they took on world number 12 Danish pair Mads Kolding and Kamilla Rytter Juhl, but were beaten 21-6, 21-12.
