The Future of Local Government in Ireland is the theme of the Colmcille Winter School, which takes place in Gartan this weekend.
The evenjt will be opened by Junior Minister Joe Mc Hugh this evening, and closed tomorrow evening by Paudie Coffey, the Junior Minister in the Department of the Environment, Community and Local Government.
Changes in the structure of local authorities North and South will be discussed by councillors, academics and commentators from both sides of the border.
