There are currently five leagues in the county – the Intermediate Ulster Senior, Inishowen and Donegal Junior, Youth and Schoolboys.
The Ulster Senior League were hit with a blow this week when Finn Harps Reserves withdrew from the league leaving five teams in the shortened season with the move to winter football in August.
Secretary Niall Callaghan told today’s Donegal Democrat that “All leagues and committees have to be looked at, There are too many committees and thats the view of the Ulster Senior League”.
“We have made our feelings known to John Delaney (FAI CEO) last November and also reported this to the Ulster FA this week.”
