Tyrone Senior Championship draw sees repeat of 2014 Final

Tyrone GAA1Tyrone champions Omagh were last night (Mon) drawn against Carrickmore in a repeat of last year’s senior championship final.
A stoppage time goal from Ronan O’Neill snatched victory for the St Enda’s at Healy Park, but Carmen have an early opportunity to gain revenge in the stand-out tie in the 2015 first round.
Omagh went all the way to the Ulster Club Championship, where they lost by a single point to Slaughtneil in a gripping decider, but they face the toughest possible first defence of their county title.
2013 champions Clonoe face a testing local derby against Coalisland, while another eye-catching encounter sees Dromore take on Ardboe.
Errigal Ciaran were drawn against last year’s Division One league winners Killyclogher.
And Dungannon’s first appearance in the senior championship sees them take on Trillick in a repeat of the 2014 Intermediate Championship final.
Also at Garvaghey last night, the Tyrone county board unveiled its latest sponsorship deal.
Donnelly Vauxhall will back the club leagues and championships for the next three years, joining another local firm, McAleer & Rushe, which recently became sponsor of the Tyrone county teams.
