Martin McGuinness announced earlier this week the redevelopment of a former army base in Ballykelly in Derry which he said, will create thousands of jobs.
SDLP Cllr Patsy Kelly says those jobs should have been awarded to Strabane, who initially topped the criteria when the project was first announced over two years ago.
