The Letterkenny and Malin dealership has been the motoring partner for Highland Radio since 2010.

Earlier this week, Inishowen Motors delivered three top-of-the-range 151 vehicles to the Highland Radio studios: a Kia Sportage, a Kia Ceed SW and a Nissan Qashqai.

The fleet of vehicles will be used by the Highland Radio team to help them in their day to day operations.

The partnership with Inishowen Motors aims to help Highland Radio drive ahead, as it grows market share and continues to dominate the airwaves in local radio.

The five year milestone comes as Highland Radio prepares to celebrate its 25th anniversary next month.

The station first broadcast on the 15th March 1990 and is planning a series of events to mark the birthday celebrations.

Managing director of Highland Radio, Fionnuala Rabbitt said: ‘Inishowen Motors has been very supportive of Highland Radio over the last number of years and we’re delighted with our new fleet. Over the past twenty five years, the station has continuously grown and evolved and partnerships with local businesses like Inishowen Motors have played a key role in our success. Inishowen Motors helps us do our job more effectively by facilitating our news, sports and sales team, helping them get to where they need to be. In our line of work, we need dependable and reliable vehicles and the Nissan and Kia range give us that security – to be travelling in style is an added bonus.’

Commenting on the association, Seamus McLaughlin of Inishowen Motors, Letterkenny said: “We’re delighted to support Ireland’s number one local radio station. This is a partnership that has grown over the past five years and we’re looking forward to building on it this year. We’re proud that our top of the range motors from Nissan and Kia have been keeping the Highland Radio team on the road for five years. We would also like to congratulate everyone at Highland Radio on the 25th anniversary and we wish the station continued success for the future.”

Inishowen Motors has two dealerships in Donegal: one in Malin and one just outside Letterkenny, in Drumkeen.

The business is owned and run by the McLaughlin family and has been in operation for 44 years with two and three generations of customers.

Known for offering the best choice of top quality affordable vehicles, Inishowen Motors serves the whole county, as well as the wider northwest region.
