Three bedroom-semi prices rose in Donegal by 12% last year

The price of an average three bedroomed semi-detached house in Donegal rose by 12.4% last year according to figures published today by the Real Estate Alliance.
Donegal now has the fourth cheapest such houses in the state according to the survey.
According to figures collated by the Real Estate Alliance, the average three-bed semi-detached house in Donegal now costs €72,500, compared to the national average of almost €185,000.
Houses in Donegal now take an average of eight weeks to sell, down from 12 weeks in June 2014.
REA agents in Donegal are predicting a rise of 5% in prices in 2015 following the ending of the uncertainty over the Central Bank’s mortgage deposit rules.
Three bedroom semis in Donegal are now the fourth cheapest in the country, with Longford, Roscommon and Cavan the only counties with cheaper houses.
