PARTY: Sinn Féin
I have been an active member of Sinn Féin since I was 17 years old and I chaired my local cumann in Castlefinn for over ten years. I was co-opted onto Donegal County Council in November 2013 and subsequently I went on to top the poll in the Stranorlar Municipal District following the local elections with over 2,000 first preference votes.
Top three priorities if you are elected:
I hope to be part of a Sinn Féin led Government which tackles youth unemployment, that creates jobs for our young people and which helps to bring our emigrants back home.
I will work to bring much needed investment to the Finn Valley by ensuring that the region’s road network and infrastructure is upgraded and developed and that we have the services and opportunities that our citizens deserve.
Promoting equal access to education, health care and housing are amongst my top priorities if elected as a TD for Donegal.
