The transport Minister Pascal Donaghue says the government recognises the importance of Donegal Airport to the region and that is why it continued its financial support of the Donegal Dublin route.

He was speaking at the official launch of the Donegal - Dublin route operated by Stobart Air - the company will also operate the Donegal to Glasgow service, with up to four flights per week.
