North West players leave for World Cup

CricketThe Irish Cricket team have left for Australia for ahead of the World Cup next month.
There are three North West players on the side – Andrew McBrine Donemana, Eglinton’s Stewart Thompson and Craig Young of Bready, who is expected to be the opening bowler during the tournament.
Ireland start their World Cup campaign against the West Indies on the 16th February with games against Pakistan, South Africa, Zimbabwe and Afghanistan to follow.
