Derry man scuffles with burglar he caught red handed

Detectives in Derry are appealing for information following a burglary that occurred in the Bethany Hall area in the early hours of this morning.
The home owner ended up in an altercation with one of the burglars when he caught them red handed.
At around 7.40am, a man aged in his 20s heard people in his house, he went downstairs and found two men there.
One man made off with a laptop, however there was an altercation between the home owner and the other man which spilled out onto the street.
The other man eventually made off with a games console.
The two men are believed to have headed in the direction of Park Avenue on foot.
The two men are both described as being in their late teens or early 20s and of thin build.
