There are calls today on Donegal County Council and the Office of Public Works of to carry out a flood risk assessment of the county.
Finn Valley Councillor Gary Doherty says roads in his area have been particularly badly effected by recent weather with the Castlefin Bridge across the river Finn completely flooded for a time.
Councillor Doherty says flooding is a worsening county wide problem and a long term plan is needed to address it:
