Brothers free to return to Donegal after dissidents say there is no threat against them

Two brothers from County Donegal who left the county four weeks ago after being threatened by a dissident republican organisation have now been told it is safe for them to return.
The men were thjreatened on the basis of allegations against them which they and their family rejected as totally untrue.
Now, the men’s father has been told that the organisation in question, which calls itself the IRA,  does not believe the allegations, and there is no threat against them. It’s also been suggested by the organsation that the initial threat was a hoax.
Donegal North East Deputy Padraig Mac Lochlainn says questions need to be asked, but the most important thing is that the two men in question are now free to return home………
