Ballybofey – Castlefinn Road closed at Cloughfinn

The road between Ballybofey and Castlefinn has been closed this morning following a collision at Cloughfin. Diversions are in place via Clady.
Gardai have indicated there was a collision involving non-fatal injuries, and the road has been closed for a technical examination. No further details have been disclosed by gardai.
A 31 year old man has been killed after a single vehicle accident in Co Cavan.
The man’s car hit a tree on the Ballinagh to Crossdoney road at around a quarter past 10 last night.
He was taken to Cavan General Hospital where he was later pronounced dead. A post mortem is due to take place later today.
The road remains closed for a Forensic Collision Examination and diversions are in place.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses.
