Homes burgled and ransacked in Glenside, Tyrone

West Tyrone MLA Joe Byrne has said that he is utterly appalled to learn that two neighbouring properties in Glenside were broken into, burgled and ransacked on Saturday night.
Mr Byrne said: “This is a very unfortunate event at an already very stressful time of the year. These opportunists will be on the prowl as we move into the Christmas season.
“I ask everyone to ensure that their properties are secure if they are going out, and to inform a neighbour if they will be away for a while. The police should be alerted immediately if you notice any suspicious activity.
“This is the third burglary in the area in recent days. I appeal to anyone who may have spotted strange activity in the Glenside area last night to come forward to the PSNI.”
