Farmers to Stage Beef 48 Hour Protest in Donegal

Farmers will stage protests at meat plants across the country from 3 o’clock tomorrow afternoon for 48 hours.
The demonstrations will go ahead after crunch talks between farmers and factories broke down late last night.
Irish farmers claim the price paid for their beef is 350 euro per head less here, than in the UK.
The Co Donegal protest will again take place outside Foyle Meats in Carrigans.
IFA President Eddie Downey says some progress was made last night, but not enough to avert the planned demonstrations…..
