New heroes ready as Marvel rolls out movieplans

Comic book movie fans, have no fear – that annual popcorn subscription is going to be money well spent for a while yet.

Marvel has unveiled its mammoth plan for superhero movies through to 2019 – including a host of big screen debuts.

The Avengers will be assembling again for a two-part Infinity War return in 2018 and 2019, with the Guardians of the Galaxy sequel also confirmed for 2017.

But its Marvel Studios’ announcement in Hollywood that Captain Marvel, Doctor Strange, Black Panther and the Inhumans will be making their film entrances that will get fans even more excited.

There is no confirmed casting news yet so we’ll have to sit tight and make do with plenty of rumours…

Captain Marvel – telling the story of pilot-turned-hero Carol Danvers – will be the studio’s first female-led film and will hit the big screen in July 2018.
