Hundreds of teenage boys and girls spend up to three weeks with host familes in native-speaking areas of Donegal learning Irish during the summer.
 
Now host families fear their water bill could become astronomical and unffordable.
 
A meeting was held in Gweedore this week, and Niall Mac Eachmharcaigh, whose family have been hosting Irish language students for generations, says he doesn’t expect Joe McHugh to change anything:
