McIlroy well off the Grand Slam pace

Rory McIlroyMartin Kaymer has won the Grand Slam of Golf after a play-off victory over Bubba Watson in Bemuda.
Four of the world’s top players were competing for the top prize of 600,000 dollars today at the Port Royal club.
But it was Kaymer who held his nerve on the first play-off hole to beat Watson, who missed a five-foot putt to force the play-off to a second hole after the American had earlier squandered a two-shot lead when standing on the 17th tee-box.
Rory McIlroy finished well-off the pace on 2-over par after a second round of 75 left him in third place, just ahead of Jim Furyk.
