Paddy Carr nominated for Donegal manager’s post

Paddy CarrFanad native Paddy Carr has been nominated for the Donegal senior football team manager’s position by the Fanad Gaels club.
Paddy who played for Donegal in the 1980’s has been living in Meath most of his life and has an impressive cv at club level which includes taking Kilmacud Crokes to the All Ireland title in 2009.
At inter county level he managed Louth in 2002 and 2003 and was also at the helm of the Meath minors.
This year, Carr managed Burren in Down and guided them to the Down senior final, where they lost against Kilcoo.
