Arsonists who attacked Convoy Orange hall also targeted local Presbyterian Church

Convoy-Oct-2014-460x345Gardai have confirmed they believe that a fire at an Orange Hall in Convoy last night and damaged caused to a nearby Presbyterian Church are connected.
Arsons forced entry into the Orange Hall and started the fire using an accelerant – the main hall was gutted and the roof destroyed.
It’s the second orange hall to the be burnt down in Co Donegal in the past three weeks.
Garda Superintendent Michael Finan says it appears there was also an attempt to burn down the Presbyterian Church in Convoy last night:
