George Clooney and new wife Amal Alamuddin have been continuing their wedding celebrations with two lavish meals in Venice.
The smitten couple entertained guests at a lunch that a source told E! News was “super chilled without anyone overdoing it”, a day after they exchanged vows in a private ceremony at the Aman Grand Canale.
Then on Sunday night the newlyweds invited 100 of their friends and family to join them for dinner at the exclusive Granaries Of The Republic.
People reported that the eatery at the Belmond Hotel Cipriani was decorated in red, with velvet pillows and vases filled with feathers and apples.
Meanwhile, more details have been emerging of the couple’s picturesque ceremony.
Amal, 36, is said to have worn a stunning Oscar de la Renta dress to marry George, 53, but so far no official photos from the nuptials have emerged.
Security was said to have been tight and guests were apparently asked not to bring phones or tablets with them to help avoid any snaps being leaked.
