The President has confirmed he has been formally invited to Rossnowlagh next year to join the Orange Order’s 12th of July celebrations.
Grand Master of the Orange Lodge of Ireland Edward Stevenson issued the invitation vebally at this year’s march in Rossnowlagh.
Now its been confirmed by President Michael D Higgins that a formal invitation has been received – however he told Highland Radio that no decision has yet been made:
The President’s concludes his visit to Donegal today – his final engagement takes place at 11am on when he will visit The Exchange in Buncrana.
