Council to open phone lines on Saturday to deal with NPPR callers

Donegal County CouncilDonegal County Council is advising those liable for Non Pivate Principal Residence tax penalties that they can freeze any additional penalties by making contact by phone or email.
The council has confimed it will taking calls on the issue tomorrow.
The council says that making contact with their offices or the NPPR Bureau by e-mail or telephone before the deadline can freeze any additional penalties that might otherwise come into effect on Monday.
To facilitate callers, Donegal County Council will be taking calls from 9am to 4pm on Saturday 30 August 2014.

Although the Council will not be taking calls on Sunday callers can leave a voicemail message with their own contact details and details of the property they want to register at the following numbers:

Any person who wishes to settle their NPPR liability and cannot get through to the council by telephone can have further late penalties frozen by making contact with either the National Bureau by e-mail at support@nppr.ie or by e-mailing Donegal County Council at npprdesk@donegalcoco.ie before the expiry of the deadline on 31st August indicating the property for which they want to settle the NPPR liability and giving their contact details.
