Householders could be charged 188 euro for an engineer from Irish Water.
The Irish Examiner reports that an hourly rate that will be charged for a call out in response to complaints about potential waterpipe and meter problems.
It also claims that cost will rise to 282 euro per hour if the request is made out of hours.
